Garmin 705 and SRM wireless power reading off

I have followed all directions to get the SRM paired with the Garmin 705. Upgraded software, checked the slope was correct, checked ID, done the zero offset through Ant sport - accessories - calibrate etc. Still, the power is off 60-80 watts. I know since i had a wired srm before this and also have a Quarq. Power for these two were the same. SRM is brand new FSA wireless/

Also why does the “fixed” offset/calibrated number change? Based on the instructions the number in grey on the screen should not change? This is the number that you saved and is used to calculate the power.
Appreciate your input.

See below for the set up recommendations found on SRM’s website, i have followed all the steps.

Put your Garmin onto your bike, and turn it on.
Spin your cranks backwards a few times to turn on the PowerMeter.
On the Garmin press Menu, select Settings, then ANT+Sport, then Accessoires and Yes for PowerMeter.
Press “Search” to activate the search for a PowerMeter, spin your cranks backwards while your Garmin is searching.
As soon as your Garmin has found the PowerMeter it will show “PowerMeter found”. Both units are now paired and can be used.

How can I set the zero offset if I’m using a Garmin Edge 705?
Spin your cranks backwards a few times to turn on the PowerMeter, stopping with the cranks sitting horizontally. Let go of the cranks, so there’s no pressure on them or the pedals.
On the Garmin, press Menu, select Settings, then ANT+Sport, then Accessories, and finally Calibrate Power.
Once the bottom number (there will be two on the screen) is stable, press the center button (Thumbstick/Enter button). This number will be accepted as the new zero offset, and the Garmin will automatically go back to the Accessories menu.
One heads up…
After the Edge says “Calibration Success” you can hit the scroll button to see that the zero offset number was stored. The stored number will be on the top. This is good - it is the “zero offset” number the Edge will use to calculate power.
BUT, If you hit the scroll button again and if there is a zero or no number in the middle line - the zero will get stored instead of the correct Zero Offset.
You should exit this screen using the mode button.

Can I manually enter the slope of my PowerMeter into a Garmin Edge 705?
Yes! Garmin has released an update to their firmware, connect your Garmin to your computer and update it through their website. Then, you’ll be able to enter the slope by doing the following:

Go to Settings > Ant+Sport > Accessories
Move the thumbstick left > right > left from any field on the page, to bring up a new page
The top number on the screen will be the ID number of the PowerMeter that is connected
The field below it allows you to manually enter the ID of the PowerMeter you want to work with, or to enter “0” to get the Garmin to search for any available PowerMeter
The second enterable field is called “Slope”, and here’s where you can manually enter the slope of your PowerMeter, if you wish to do so.
