Garmin 310XT Install Question

So I just got a Garmin 310XT and am having some difficulty getting the plug in for the ANT+ USB key to work. I’m running a Mac laptop with OS 10.4.1, which is supposed to work. Basically I’ve gone through the download and install sequence with the plug in, but when it goes to test the plug in the Garmin page tells me the plug in isn’t detected.

When I get to my office this AM I’m going to try on my desktop, which is a Mac running the newer OS and see if that helps, but I definitely would like to have it running on my laptop more than my desktop.

Anyone else run into this, and more importantly, have a solution?

Thanks!

Hi Chris

I had the same problem. The solution was to remove FLIP4MAC as per:

Hope this helps.

I’ll try that - thanks for the advice!

OK, follow up question - now when I go to the dashboard it tells me “No Devices Found” even with the USB stick inserted and the Garmin turned on. Thoughts?

Enable “device pairing” on both the Mac and the 310. Don’t have mine in front of me so I can’t give you the exact buttons to push, but do a little searching and it should be obvious.

Thanks for all the info - got it working. Had installed the plug in, but not the ANT+ app needed to run the USB. Works great now.
