Did a quick search and didn’t find anything related to this so hopefully this isn’t a re-post. A few weeks back when I was uploading data from my Garmin 310 XT the ant agent indicated that I needed to do a “firmware” update. I downloaded it and installed it. Since then I’ve had nothing but problems. Everything from weird run data where even though the start and finish point are the same when I upload onto Garmin and Strava they are KM’s apart, frozen on the intro screen, pacing info no where near accurate, randomly shutting off and ridiculous HR readings just to name a few. I searched the Garmin web site and tried to reinstall the update but it says my watch is up to date and not in need of a download so that hasn’t worked.
Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do? Really bummed because it worked perfectly until the firmware update. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Same thing has happened to me. Just updated to the latest firmware and on the third kilometer of my run on my regular run route it added over 250 to my split messing my pacing up, even though the the gps was receiving at 5 meters. Wish I could go back to the old firmware. Garmin- get your s&@t together!

Garmin firmware notifications have always been problematic. A bit late I know, but you should check the firmware version before updating -
If you are having problems try reloading the latest firmware first from the link above. It may take time! Downloading the firmware to ANT Agent is quick; transferring and loading to the device can take some time. Leave the device connected to the charging clip until ‘Completed’ shows on the device screen.
If that doesn’t work, do a hard reset to restore to factory settings (you will lose any configuration settings) - https://support.garmin.com/...dcef-000000000000} then reload the firmware again.
