Heart rate monitor stopped working this weekend. I replaced the battery but that didn’t help - it is 2 years old. Anyone ever have this problem?
I wonder if it needs to be “paired” after changing the battery. You should be able to go to the settings menu and add it again the same way you add a foot pod or speed/cadence sensor.
You can go online to Garmin and download the manual if you lost yours. These days almost any manual for anything can be found on the internet.
Since you replaced the battery, try to re-pair it with the 305. Wet the part against your skin, put it on nice and snug, and have the Garmin search for the strap again.
