I got my new Garmin 301 and also a the bike mount for it tonight. It looks like the wrist band needs to come off to mount it but I don’t see how. Anyone done this yet?

The wrist band stays on. There are two indentations on the either side of the 301, and corresponding, ummm, outdentations 
on the bike mount. Put one side of the 301 in the mount, then snap the other side in and wrap the wrist band around the bar, through the slot, and then backtrack to line up the velcro. It’s just like putting a watch on once you’ve snapped it in to the mount.
