Has anyone used Galfer disc brake rotors and pads on their road bike? If so, how was the performance and durability?
I have not used them on a drop-bar bike, but have on my mountain bike without any issues. Durability and performance are inline with Shimano OEM pads.
With that said, their rotors (while very light) are much harder to keep true than a Shimano or SRAM rotor. These did not stay on my bike for long.

Thanks for the input. Interesting about the rotors not staying true because they say that their manufacturing method lends itself to the rotors staying true longer than stamped rotors. Glad to hear some real world experience.
Arguably Shimano’s sandwich design warps easier. If that’s what you have then you shouldn’t have issues with the Galfers. I’ve had to true SRAM rotors on my tri bike and with a truing tool it just takes a minute. I mean a literal minute.
Lots of reviews across multiple forums on the Galfers. Seems to be largely positive. Enough so that I will go with Galfer for my ongoing road build.
Galfer wave rotors… 160F 140R… Shimano pads though.
No issues so far, dont heat warp as fast as Shimano rotors and look better. 160 was not straight out of the box but the 140 was ok.
Just go with KCNC’s razor rotors. They are cheap, light, thick and quite credible under harsh braking. No sign of heat-warp at all.
