Full stack software engineer - triathlon training startup based in Europe

Stamina is hiring!

Stamina is a personalized training app for beginner triathletes. We’re building a better solution to the static PDF plans that most beginners follow with our intuitive training app.

We started in Sep. 2024 as a team of 2 ex-product managers & age-group triathletes, built a beta and quickly grew a community of paying users who are spending ±3 hours a week on our closed beta app.

We can’t keep up with our roadmap, and thus we’re looking to expand our team with a founding full-stack engineer to speed up development. If you’re a full-stack software engineer with a love for triathlon, this is the role for you!

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Building new training features end-to-end, from UI implementation to backend APIs.
  • Improving our algorithm-driven training plans alongside our product team
  • Owning and improving our technology choices to prepare for scaling beyond early users
  • Anything else that comes up! We’re a startup after all, anything can happen

Benefits:

  • Work hard, train hard: We’re looking to build the most training-friendly company in the world!
  • Meaningful ownership: Extremely generous founding-level equity (real upside) plus modest initial salary, with scope for rapid growth as we raise funding.
  • Collaborative culture: Work directly alongside two experienced PM-founders who’ve built and scaled consumer apps to 50,000+ users who understand great product and UX, prioritize speed and learning, and know how to have fun.

Requirements:

  • Based in Europe (ideally close to CET timezone)
  • Proven experience building engaging, polished consumer-facing apps
  • Strong proficiency with React Native, TypeScript, and ideally experience with Supabase or similar BaaS.
  • Passionate about triathlon or endurance sports

Tech stack:

  • React native
  • Typescript
  • Tailwind
  • Express
  • Supabase
