This is a great bike for a new triathlete or somebody wanting to try tri’s without investing a ton of $. I hate to call to call it an “entry” level bike b/c it’s got some very nice upgraded parts. It was my first tri bike and has done me very well. I bought it new in 2010 from a bike store and used it for the 2010 and half of the 2011 triathlon season over a variety of sprint and one Olympic course. Don’t fall prey to the hype about carbon bikes b/c this bike is fast too. I easily averaged over 21 MPH on some races and beaten people on their brand new Cervelo and Felt bikes costing thousands more. It was a leftover frame (54 cm) that had never been used so I’m the first owner. I’ve never crashed/dropped it and it’s always been stored in a climate controlled environment. It’s got some very minor paint issues from use but nothing that will impede it’s intended use. You may want to retape the handle bars and get a bike tune up. I would do it, but I want to leave the personalization of this bike to the new owner.
Email me with any questions or for more specific pictures. Paypal only, no trades, and no low balls. I don’t have to sell this so please don’t insult me. Honestly, I wish a bike like this was available when I was looking b/c I would’ve jumped on it because it’s such a great value and allows somebody get into triathlons without investing 2K on a new bike.
I’ll also include a nice matching yellow/black Rudy Project helmet with a full price offer
