You can buy the GenR8 drink at Fleet Feet Laguna Niguel. I am pretty sure they’re the only one
selling it in Orange County, GNC is supposed to carry it any day.
If anyone has any experience please share. I’ve used it during long sessions/races
and for recovery. I would like to use it in conjunction with Whey protein and L-Carnitine as a recovery drink.
If any nutrition gurus can tell me the best way to use both in conjunction that would be awesome.
I know it has been out forever in Sweden and the UK, in different formulations using the Vitargo molecule.
Over the weekend I used it during an adventure race, slamming a bottle at at time on the run/bike/paddles and it worked like a charm. I felt like I had 2 Red Bulls. Very cool. I took my water with nuun for electrolytes, ate a couple bags of Clif Blocks, some Pringles in transitions and was good to go. Cold conditions, very high intensity.
