If you’re interested in trying out a midsole cleat position and happen to wear a size 44.5 (US 10.5), here’s your chance to do so easily and cheaply.

Up for sale is my old pair of Shimano TR-02 tri shoes that I modified per the instructions on Joe Friel’s blog to accept a midsole cleat (Shimano SPD). Details and photos can be found here…

I only ended up trying them a few times, since they didn’t seem to fix the issue I was trying to fix. So, they’re in pretty-much identical condition to the photos in that thread. The only difference is that you will receive the stock, unused Shimano insoles and not the grey Superfeet shown in the photos.
