I recently moved and have realized that there is no good 'cross riding by me. Typically, when tri season had ended, I worked my way over to the trails and bombed around looking for mud…but no more!
This is a 54cm 2011 Redline Conquest Pro Aluminum frameset that I purchased in October of last year after my original frame was bent in a crash. It was ridden about 15-20 times before I moved and is in great (not perfect) shape. Also new with the build last fall was the Cannondale crankset, saddle and Avid Ultimate Shorty brakes. Nothing on this bike is bent, out of true or anything that would affect the way it runs. All damaged parts were replaced
Here is the build:
Campy Record **9 **speed drivetrain (better for mud clearance) and an additional unused 50x34 FSA chanring set
Cannondale Hollowgram SI crankset (172.5) with Salsa 46/36 chainrings
Sram Avid Ultimate Shorty Brake Calipers
Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheels
Bontrager aluminum handlebars 42cm c-c (3T aluminum stem 120 ±6 degrees)
Clemente LAS Tires (I will also include my Clemente PDX and Michelin Mud 2 tires)
Specialized Phenom Saddle
I will also throw in my Garmin Edge 605 (only the charging cable is included).
This is a whole lot of bike for not a whole lot of money. A fully race-ready rig. Keep in mind, this is Campagnolo 9 speed that is 15 years old. The shifting is great and is incredibly durable, however, when you get to the point things need to be replaced you will have to search on eBay or other sites for the parts. Everything runs fantastic and the nice thing about 9-speed is that it clears the mud better and has infinite trim on the front derailer.
I am asking $1500 for the bike shipped in the CONUS. The frame & wheels alone would retail for over $1200
For some reason I can’t get the photos to post…here are the links
