First dibs to ST’ers. Yes this is a real 2002 Olympic Torch and the clothing that torch bearers wore (myself included). This is a 100% genuine torch as well as the runners outfit - pants, hat, shirt, coat and gloves. I can also include a video (VHS of myself) running with the Olympic flame.

That is cooler than cool. I think you’ll do very well if you go to ebay with these. That said, I’ll echo others here in wondering why on earth you’d ever want to sell those things. We don’t get much in terms of heirlooms anymore, but an Olympic torch that great-granddad Chip once carried would probably qualify.

Yes…pls dont sell these. This is something that money SHOULDN’t be able to buy. I think there was a thread in the past that you were thinking of it, but come on man. I think this is something you will regret later on.
The thing is just there…sitting and the clothing doing the same…been doing a ton of cleaning - you know, if you have not worn it in three years…donate it. TONS more room at home. Plus the shelter has had some pretty nice duds to hand out.
I would see if there are any local athletes(Chicago, milwaukee areas) that were on the Olympic team that may want it, but if were you, I’d keep it. Don’t need to display the whole thing, but it is a piece of history.
