Brand new 64mm Mavic Comete Pro Carbon Exalith wheelset. Take off of a 2019 BMC TimeMachine TM01 Three. This wheelset is not yet available for sale in the US; however, per a Mavic rep these will retail for $1600 in the US in 2020.
These wheels are similar to the standard Comete wheels except they have Mavic’s new Exalith braking surface. This braking system is supposed to rival the performance of disc brakes at a much lighter weight.
The spokes mount directly to the rim and the wheel itself is carbon fairing. This helps add stability.
Comes with Mavic Yksion Pro 25mm tires, Mavic skewers and SwissStop Exalith compatible brake pads, made specifically for this braking surface.
Never ridden on the road or trainer. Literally zero miles.
