.

who the hell is going to buy a $4000 dollars ring online?

To Stef and others:

There are services that deal with both ends on a transfer of this value. The company will take the ring first before releasing the money to the seller. In return the buyer or seller or both will buy a nominal fee to the company for this service. It works and has been done many times before.

Please let me know and I will do my best to work it out to our mutual interest. Thanks.

I am willing to accept any reasonable offer. Please let me know.

Cheers,
A

Here is a description of the ‘escrow’ service I am talking about:

For Canadians COD is also available via Canada post.

Don’t you jinx yourself buying a second hand engagement ring?

Not if you keep your mouth shut and it comes in a little blue box that says Tiffany’s…

Statistically speaking, I think you have about a 50% chance of jinxing yourself no matter what ring you give…

Yeah, I like hard numbers, makes things easier
.

Now the ring is listed on ebay which offers legal protection for buyer.

um. just to be clear. you do realize this is a TRIATHLON website right?
I mean how many times do you need to bump your ring sale before you figure out that maybe this ain’t the best way to unload your bad-idea purchase.

yea but he’s trying to unload this ring for the Zipp 404s and disc he’s been “jonesing” for.

Maybe I should offer him a ridiculous price like people have offered me on items I was selling on here before.
