Does anyone need or know anyone who needs an entry level commuter/touring/road bike?
I would like to find this bike a nice home. She’s been very well loved and maintained, been on a few touring trips and always serviced regularly.
The basics:
24 speed 8 speed triple drivetrain Shimano Claris
700x32c Gatorskin Hardshell tires (have about 300 miles on them)
61cm frame fitting anyone from about 6’1" upwards
The following are BRAND NEW:
Chain 0 miles
Cassette 11-28 0 miles
Bontrager comp seat post 0 miles
New brake pads on front and rear
Stock saddle (never been ridden)
Lizard Skin red bar tape
Pedals with cage (0 miles), I could include basic flat pedals instead
Excellent condition Nebula wheels (again stock with about 500 miles on them) These are 32 spoke count and very reliable touring/commuter wheels.
This bike has just been serviced by a mechanic at my LBS. She was taken down to the bottom bracket in the last couple days, cleaned, lubed/greased and put back together. Cleaned the entire frame and it contains only a few scratches and paint wear here and there. To give you a better idea I took a picture below of just before the bottom bracket was pulled. Q-tips were used to clean the nooks and crannies of this bike as well as the chainrings taken apart and cleaned thoroughly.
All the cables on this bike have been replaced in the last 200 miles. She may be claris but she shifts like she’s Dura Ace. 
So come get my christmas bike, she’s a very reliable cyclocross/commuter/cross country touring bike. She’ll do everything well and trying to find a good home for her. Right now she’s set up to be a reliable commuter with road tires.

As a final added bonus I could include my hand built touring wheels that I posted in another post for $550 total instead of the Nebula stock wheels. Please ask, they were built 36h specifically designed to be bomb proof.
