Front-Wheel, Xentis TT or Zipp 808

I’m chosing between Zipp 808 and the new Xentis TT wheel, which’s the fastest?

I have the xentis mark 1 today, but they really suck in headwinds but are awesome in sidewinds, on the contrary to all testings that have been done… What I really like about the xentis is that they are rock solid, I have gotten a lots of miles on them in rough road-coniditions, why I might choose xentis over zipp 808’s.

I realize that it has been several threads on the subject, but no one with consensus

Ps, I will pair the wheel with a zipp disc, which I rode 4:36 in my latest Ironman, strong sidewinds all day, I was flying with it and the xentis mark 1 wheel. Having big problem beliving xentis are worse than zipp 808 in sidewinds since I always perform my very best in sidewinds… Ds

The Zipp 808 is the fastest wheel out there no matter what the HED mafia says.

The recent tour tests show that there isn’t much in it between the TT’s and 808 - I would go with whatever you think looks cooler :). IMHO the TT’s look great.

Also, the Xentis wheels have a 5 year guarantee (vs 1 year for Zipp I think) + crash replacement policy (like Zipp - according to Xentis they can fix most wheels after a crash - I emailed them). I suppose it also depends if you’re in Europe or the States - it would be easier to get a Xentis fixed in Europe if anything happened (the sames applies for Zipp in the States I guess).

I vote Xentis, they’ll make you as fast as this guy…

Your guy is a no show so that mean the Zipp wins by default?
