Growing up in Nepal, adventure was never far away. I spent my younger years exploring the wild heart of Chitwan National Park on jungle safaris, watching rhinos move through the tall grass and listening to the jungle come alive at night. I trekked to Annapurna Base Camp again and again — each time the mountains pulled me back with something new to discover.
Now, with those experiences shaping who I am, I have one goal set firmly on the horizon: summit Mera Peak by 2030.
At 6,476 metres, Mera Peak is Nepal’s highest permitted trekking peak — a true high-altitude mountaineering challenge. It’s not just a climb. For me, it’s the natural next chapter of a lifelong relationship with these mountains.
