Depends on the year, frame, where it was in their line up. Could be English and maybe Swiss…ONLY if the frame pre-dates the 80’s. By the 80’s they were shipping pretty much only English threads (as the swiss cups had some issues with falling out!)

  • Swiss and French had the same threads but one had a diffrent cup or something like that. PITA to work on too as the threads were the right (wrong) way.

wondering if it is possible to do this with shimano stuff?
