Ok, my bike fitter says with my current setup I need to move forward 1.6inch (4cm for you metric guys) and up .5in (1.3 cm).
Well, my current saddle will only let me forward another 1/3inch max…
So, looking at a forward seatpost option.
I tried the following, but the diameter of the post got “thicker” from the blue line to the red…and I needed to get to the red.
Profile Design Carbon Fast Forward Seatpost:
So, thinking about the Nitto Tri Seatpost with 50mm of offset…Anyone with realworld experience or suggestions?
The top portion of the Nitto post you have pictured (The Nitto S66) is solid, so it is beastly heavy. It is very sturdy though and they work quite well. The issue is they are impossible to find (for me at least). Our former source for them was Quality Bicycle Parts, their part number ST9372. Their dealer network website lists the product as “Out of Stock”.
i agree with tom…that nitto post is like an anchor. try and find one of these… http://www.wisecyclebuys.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=402
i’ve use one before and it’s a nicely made product. you might be able to source one through javelin bikes if you can’t find one anywhere else.
will this work. http://www.blackwellresearch.com/p_seat_posts.htm World Seat Post
