I would prefer a tech shirt to run in and warm up at races with. As for color red or white for me. Hats would be cool tech hat and as for the charity another bike to a deserving triathlete is fine with me or find a needy family in someones area and buy the kids some bikes. Just a thought…

A quick note to folks about technical shirts. I’ve received tech race shirts in the past that were not all that well done. The graphics were not sublimated and had a tendency to peel rather soon after getting them. So if we go that route it needs to be done well. I just have no clue how much that might cost.

A charity that is much more braod-ranging than one of us. Are any of us TRULY needy? I think that almost to a person we of this forum are pretty damn comfortable, all things considered. There are needs, and then there are Needs.

Sperera’s choice: UNICEF (This was his idea and flows from his substantial effort and time, UNICEF is a REAL charity, don’t hijack his concept and potentially kill Sperera’s enthusiam by taking this in another direction).
By the way, I know nothing of Matt’s situation, so if he’s had some hard luck, I don’t mean to sound unsympathetic. I did a search and all I learned is that his wife rides dressage. I’m sympathetic of that – but I ain’t gonna send him money for a bike as a result.
