Fort tri/tt bike

Anyone have any experience with aluminum Czech-made FORT frames? The geometry seems somewhat slack, but my LBS has a new reasonably-priced frame for sale.

I rode FORT road and TT frames for years. I still use a FORT as my rain bike. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I’m sure you know that you are not getting a lightweight, wind-tunnel tested frame with a FORT. But, you are getting a good quality product and a company that stands behind their product (at least they used to) for a great price. I ultimately got on the carbon fiber bandwagon and the frames are better, but ironically my fastest IM split was done on my old FORT aluminum. And, my 2nd fastest was done on a steel road bike (albeit with aerobars, a disk, and a rev-x front). It’s actually frustrating that I haven’t been able to get any faster after spending $$$ on fancy bikes. ha ha.

Thank you. I’ve done some Internet research and see only good reviews. Because I am new to tri, I did not want to spend $$$$. Thus, this choice is entirely cost-driven. My LBS is the only FORT distributor in the U.S. I will likely buy the super-discounted frame and start putting it together for next season. I’ll post pics when it’s done. Thanks again.
