Form Goggles Training Plans

For people who’ve used formswim goggles - I don’t think there are any reviews of the various training plans on the web?

Which ones are fun, which ones are effective for what kind of swimmer etc.

I have tried several but end up skipping workouts that i dont want to do and usually end up not finishing the plan. However, by having a plan on my goggles that gives me more workouts to choose from. You can save 5 workouts on your goggles in addition to the plan workouts.

I’ve tried a few plans;

Arm stroke length LV and MV
Boost your pace MV
Improve your pace HV
Step up pace HV
Improve form score
And started the Half Iron MV

Compliance has been pretty poor if I’m honest but it’s always good to have a session plan when you do go.

I like a fair amount of variety in stroke, and I don’t see much value in long intervals. Most triathlon plans seem to focus on getting newbs to the distance.

I can’t tell from the app which workouts or plans I enjoyed most, but ‘Silver’ compliance on Improve Your Pace indicates I didn’t hate it(!)

Since you favor varied strokes and short reps, try FORM’s Skill Development or Fitness MV plans—they mix drills and moderate intervals instead of long sets. Export sessions you liked (e.g. “Improve Your Pace”), create custom playlists, and tag or calendar‑view workouts to track enjoyment. That way you’ll know which sessions you stick with before committing to a full plan.
