I found it kind of inconvenient to look at my Garmin Forerunner 305 when I am wearing it on my wrist (even when I wear it on the back or the side of my wrist) during my rides. Has anyone come up with a bike mount for this device ?
I have not seen anything from garmin yet. I made one out of a broken hockey stick. I cut the shaft of the stick to be just wider then the my areo bars so friction would kind of keep it in place. Then I wrapped it with some duct tape. It’s just before the bars curve up. Works great. A quick glance down - and I can see everything.
sounds good, do you have pictures ?
Garmin sells one on their website, I believe.
Plastic PVC plumbing pipe, available at any hardware store. Available in a variety of diameters, and you can cut it to whatever length you need. It’s easy to shape the ends to fit against round bars, it won’t look like a home-made hack job, it’s stupid cheap, and it’s super light.
I use the Polar bike mount. Works fine.
