Oh yea The Zack Attack misfired a little early that Oct. Did we ever get the straight story on the helmet debacle? I always liked the guy and the way he rode. They said he could not run. I think he went 2:59 at Austria or in Germany one year.
If my recollection serves me, he ran 2:49 or so in his last IMH finish, having backed OFF on the bike. He COULD run, it’s just that he generally toasted himself too hard on the bike. By the time he figuired this out his career was in decline.
