For the TnT lovers

Active has an article where the author’s honest opinion is that TnT type programs are the best training plans there are!

Honest, unbiased reporting.

Your post lacks accuracy and facts. Pete Kain is a respected and accomplished member of the tri community. He did not claim TnT was the best training program. In fact he quoted someone else regarding the program’s relative worth compared to similar programs. And that quote did not even claim what you stated. Competitor magazine claimed TnT was one of the best CHARITY training programs out there. Although I think many of us have issues with some of the people and methods involved in the TnT effort, your attempt to discredit them based on your own misreading of that article is disingenuous to both the author, Pete Kain and the many good people involved in that effort.

Thats far from being honest and unbiased yourself. Learn to read with an unbiased eye before you attempt to speak with an unbiased voice.

I normally like Active’s articles. Their World Class Workouts and how mere mortals can adapt them for their own workouts is a great series.

But I prefer my periodicals and web sites to clearly differentiate between advertising and editorial content, and that article definitely gave me the impression of a thinly veiled ad trying to pass as something a bit more objective.
