For the tech wizards out there, Tom D. XM related

Ok, since I can’t listen to xm-radio on the bike how would you go about recording it onto CD for the ride home?

Any ideas?

As far as I know, the only clean way is if you have the XM-PCR version of the receiver. It plugs into your computer. There’s a software program that someone wrote specifically to record the XM feed into WMA or MP3 files. Do a google search for “NeroSoft TimeTrax” and you should find it.

If you had a regular home XM receiver, you could make low quality MP3’s by using a microphone and recording the sound from your speakers or doing something similar.
