The Cervélo P5X was Cervélo’s flagship triathlon platform, engineered as a fully integrated system focused on aerodynamics, fit, storage, and real-world usability. Now discontinued and increasingly rare, the P5X remains a standout performance machine and a collector-grade superbike.

Designed around Cervélo’s aero philosophy, the P5X delivers exceptional efficiency, testing approximately 30 grams faster than the P5 across ±15° yaw angles in a full Ironman configuration. Its defining feature is unparalleled micro- and macro-adjustability, allowing athletes and fitters to quickly dial in an optimal position without compromising aerodynamics. Flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes and thru-axles provide confident stopping power, stiffness, and low maintenance in all conditions.

Integrated storage is central to the P5X design. The SmartPak, StealthBox, and SpeedCase securely carry nutrition, tools, and spares, while three round bottles are positioned for minimal aerodynamic penalty. The bike was also engineered for travel, with a two-piece foldable aerobar and simplified disassembly that packs efficiently into the included dedicated travel case.

Do you have any room for negotiation?

I’m not sure the seller has done realistic evaluation of this bike. Best of luck to seller but this is over priced for current market…

I appreciate your opinion on price. I have thoroughly considered the price for this bike including all of the upgrades when I set the price. I am open to negotiation if you are a buyer.

Yes, I certainly am willing to negotiate.

Valuation is a subjective topic. For example, someone just paid 15 million for a 10 cent comic book.

Exactly, especially for illiquid assets where there is no real “market.” Just looking to make a fair deal.

You’re not wrong…plenty people willing to overpay for things…but it doesn’t mean something isn’t over-priced.

anyone willing to spend some time looking into the triathlon bike market…yes there is one…can find a brand new bike, with current iteration components/wheels for the price listed in this posting.

You can not compare the P5X which is no longer in production to this bike when asserting that my bike is overpriced. Maybe that’s how you look at things but for someone who is interested in an P5X this is a ridiculous comparison. And, I have the original case that is purpose-built for this bike as well. I never said the price was firm either.

I just don’t understand why you’ve chosen to insert yourself into this thread and make assertions that are off base especially when you are not a buyer. I get that this bike is not for you so please, and with respect, just move on.

Whatever dude…but best of luck to you.

This is a forum, where opinions are shared. Sorry I participated, and sorry I disagree about how much your P5X is worth…
