Over the weekend I was at the inlaws and their pre-teen girl was laying on the floor watching TV and using this thing:
http://www.footstretch.com/
Anyone ever try this for swimming? Would it improve ankle flexibility, if use in moderation?
No, I’m not a troll or work for the company. My niece is an aspiring ballerina and her mother tells me it’s a must have in her class.
The guy who invented zoomers invented this thing, http://www.finisinc.com/support/technical/dryland/the-rack/.
I don’t know of anyone who uses them.
But yes, the idea has been around swimming for a while.

I think it would be a help, but it’s a more extreme stretch than you need for swimming.

Actually, “The Rack” by Finis is not being made anymore. I checked the web site and called the company. I’ve been trying to get one myself.

I would be worried it would effect your arch with running. Long fins during kick drills will help with ankle flexibility. That’s what I use.
