If you guys want to follow me on my last century this summer. You can go to: http://bimactive.com/ba/ui/live_tracking.php username: tristuff4less password: tristuff4less I am planning on doing about 100 miles I will be leaving in about 40 min ( I have to drive to the starting point) Jon
This is a cool application. What phone are you using for the connection?
12mph?!? Are you sure you won’t get your ST-macho card revoked?

That is pretty cool.
It looks like he is going uphill. So, I’ll give him a pass on the pace (for now).
Yea: That first part was pretty hard: Uphill, headwind and the road had disentegrated and was filled with potholes, dirt, gravel. On one of the downhills I even hit a cat who jumped in front. I maintained my balance and the cat ran into the woods. My overall avg was 17.4 mph. And the cell phone battery died at mile 96–I think it was 102 miles. And the last bit was all downhill…Not bad for that much climbing. You can see more at the blog

Also: for those who don’t know the technology. It is just me and my cell phone. I pay $5 a month for the service. It is called BIMactive (http://bimactive.com) and it tracks all of my workouts.
Very cool, thanks for the information!
I forgot to mention the phone: LG Env2 from verizon. I have had it for about 1 year. The battery didn’t last the whole time so that was a bit of a bummer…
I like the tracking feature which you all saw. I use this on long rides so that my wife will know where I am in case of any emergency. You can never be too safe out there on the roads.
