Not sure where you are staying, but there is internet access at the Juerere (sp?) Beach Hotel and along the block from the Chaundra in a small commerical block.
Lots of hot girls there.
I haven´t seen many yet, but then I just got here yesterday.
There´s like 20 internet cafe´s within walking distance. The one I´m at now is dirt cheap.
I was going to ask if there was much going on that was not race related, but I guess you gave me the answer!
Dont want to be picky, but not many Florianopolis chicks hang out at Net Cafes 
You might see more at surf beaches and in town.
