I’m looking at options for flying to Las Vegas from Boston in order to get to St. George in September. Spirit has the lowest price as well as non-stop flights. Their bike fee looks to be $75 each way, and I know you have to pay extra for bags. Anyone with experience flying Spirit with a bike want to chime in on the experience? Thanks in advance!
I’ve flown Spirit airlines twice with a bike with no issues; one time was international. It was back in 2016 though.
Since then I’ve always flown Delta. Bikes fly for a price of a bag with them and since I’m a medallion member it flies for free.

Spirit is great way to travel as a cyclist. You pay hefty bags fees on Spirit anyway so $75 to fly a bike box which you can stuff a ton of stuff in is like almost free.
