Has anyone heard any news with regards to the run course for this year FL 70.3, I had heard about them making it more on the road, and less on the dirt trails, does anyone have any info…thanks

I have not heard anything and I’m the RD, so I hope that I would be one of the first to know about any changes.

Anyways, this will be my 5th FL 70.3, and the race is awesome, I think my favorite run course was the 1st year if I recall that we ran on a golf course.
The current run course is ok, most of the folks that had blisters etc, were not wearing socks, if you know the course is going to be run on uneven terrain with dirt, etc, you should prepare properly, and you will be fine. Some of our group from South Fl did a few brick session on Key Biscayne, and we would run on the grass / rocky side of the road on Virigina Key to prepare.
Any word on what IM slots will be available at Florida 70.3? Thank you.
