Fizik mistica saddle tilt?

For those of you riding it…

What kind of tilt do you have on it? All their picture show saddle rails level but that has the saddle slopes down some. That’s how I’ve been riding it since I’ve been playing around with it and it seems good…but I’m so ingrained to think “flat saddle”

Curious as to what others are doing?

I generally start with the rails level, and then try up and down a degree to find the sweet spot for that individual.

Thank you. So typically going to have some slope to the actual seat then?

That is correct. The “level rails” approach works well with noseless saddles.

One of these days, I’m going to put all of the noseless saddles on the floor and measure their “native” angle. The Mistica is relatively mild slope (-2 or -3 degrees) while the ISM PR 2.0 has quite a bit of slope (-7 or -8 degrees), yet they both can work well in their range.

Mine works best for me with the top level. If I go rails level I have to push myself backwards too much.

I have the rails tilted just ever so slightly upward, so that the actual saddle surface is slanted down just a tad, but not as much as when the rails were level. With the rails level I felt like I was sliding forward off the saddle.

I also have the saddle top level.

And what I love about this saddle is the rear hydration setup. There’s enough room where you can put a tube, c02 cartridge, inflator, and some tire levers into a sunglass bag and wedge it up in there for a really clean look without the need for a saddle bag or an xlab.
