I have 110 miles, 3 rides on my new Fizik Arione Tri Saddle. I already noticed the “silver” material is ripping along the side where the “flex” happens… Anyone else experience this? Defective materials? What is that material anyway? I really was expecting leather…
Hmmmm.Not so far!
Mine is going the same way, it is 6 months old and looks like 10 years old ! Stay clear of the silver ones, I had my doubts when I first saw it but it matched the colour scheme so I got sucked in. I suppose I will have to try and find a cover for it becuase I sure as hell aren;t repalcing it after 6 months.

No problem with mine so far. How much do you weigh. I’m only around 150.
No problems with mine. I’ve got around 400 miles on it.
mines fine - 600 miles and I am a bigger rider

Wait until you have done 3000 miles, I doubt size has much to do with it.

Hey there,
I mentioned this one before, but let me try again. The first batch of Arione Tri’s were produced using the mirror silver cover with ‘slits’ on the cover at the wing flex area. We soon discovered that this material does not like to be cut in such a way. You will notice that new models in the shops using the mirror silver cover, have ‘fake’ cuts - they now just have indicator marks to highlight the wing flex feature. If you have a problem w your Arione Tri using this mirror silver cover, please return it to your place of purchase for replacement.
