WOW!! What a rush. Just finished my first ever Ironman Triathlon, and when I say first I mean my first anything!. I finished the CDA IM in 15:15:36. I know this may be a turtle pace to most of you but I loved it. I want to say Thank you to all of you here who answered my questions early on with training issues and also to others who posted questions and got answers, they helped me. I am now hooked, I am signing up for CDA IM next year. Again, all I can say is WOW!! and all the volunteers, thank you too!!!
Congrats. Might be slow to some, but it is farther that I am willing to go. .5IM tops for me.
IM for your first tri ever? Very ambitious of you…but very good job on finishing.
And just so you know, you’re still a triathlete if you do shorter events!
