Looking for some pacing advice for an olympic distance I have coming up next weekend. Specifically on the bike, Lactate threshold is at 24mph/15-20min. comfortable pace is 18 for 90 min+. Problem is I dont pace well and consistantly creep up to that lt and Im concerned I will gas at 25-30k. what are the tricks of the trade for pacing the cycle portion. ( swim 18 min, 10 k 46min for reference) Plus Im racing for a bar tab after the race with a few in the group,so the stakes are high.
