Felt Doctrine FRD (high end hardtail) with full xx1 group and carbon race wheels- Size Large (20") - SOLD

It’s mountain bike season, come get this race ready rig! This is everything you need for a full build Felt Doctrine FRD in a size 20. ***Please note, this bike will ship in an unbuilt condition, but includes everything needed for a full build. Here’s the full scoop on this bike, you’ll see in the link below from FELT that the Doctrine is their new gen hardtail race XC bike (similar Geo to the new Specialized Epic and Trek Supercaliber) and as you probably know, the FRD version is their most advanced and lightest carbon layup. This bike only just recently hit the market. This frame-set alone is retailing for $3,999, so think of it this way, you’re getting a discount on the frame and a top of the line build kit thrown in.

This was a warranty replacement for me, so the frame is brand new and the grouppo is lightly used. Right after I started the build, I broke my back and now it’s going to be a while before I’m on a mountain bike. In the pictures you’ll see everything for the build. Just checked Strava and the previous bike had only 302 miles on it. I basically bought it for a couple races, but spend most of my time on the road.

The build is as follows:

Rock Shox RS1 fork with 100mm travel, full carbon steerer and remote lock out.

Full SRAM XX1 Drive Train with the exception of the cranks
Cranks are the super light and stiff Race Face Next Sl in a 175mm with a 32T chainring

Wheels are top of the line DT Swiss XRC1200. These are full Carbon, weighing around 1400 grams and retail at $2700.

Wheels are set up tubeless wtih Schwalbe Racing Ralphs.

The rest of the build is all top of the line, with Easton EC90 stem (90mm) and bars and Next carbon seatpost.

The old brakes were post mount and the new frame is flat mount, but I’ll include the adapters. Also, the rear wheel isn’t boost, but I’ll include the adapter, you’ll just need to re-dish the rear wheel 3mm to re-center it. You’re looking at a $8,000 plus bike that is priced to sell quickly. You’ll see that the previous build weighed in at just a hair over 19lbs without pedals. This frame might be a touch lighter.

Saddle and cages aren’t included, but I’ll include the XTR pedals.

I’ve read through the post a few times but I’m not seeing a price. What’s the price?

Oh man, can’t believe I left that out. Post has been updated, but it’s priced to sell at $3,200 for the whole build.

Bump for price drop to $3,000
.

Hey man, I’m interested in the bike. Can I call you to discuss?

I actually sold it locally and forgot to take it off here.

Thanks!
