I am going to be riding a 2013 Felt DA2 this season and would like to use xlab products for hydration but wanted to confirm these products worked.
- torpedo 400 system
-xlab stealth pocket 400
- delta wing ( not sure on the best model as I will be riding a sitero saddle)
Thanks
Sorry for the delay! Was at the 70.3 California expo all day Friday and at the race the next day.
Torpedo System 400 compatibility will all depend on the width of your aerobars. It will fit bars from 80-130mm measured center to center.
Stealth Pocket 400 - This will be the perfect bag for the bike!
Delta - You would want to look at the Delta 100 and 200 models. In order to make it fit the Sitero saddle you would need to purchase a spacer hardware kit from us, but it will work.
I can’t answer for the torpedo and the saddle, but I can tell you that the Stealth Pocket 400 works great.
Straps seem to be longer than needed but if you like you can cut them to length. Works great and didn’t move at all (used it for the first time during a Half Ironman).
FYI i ride a 2013 Felt DA4.
Regards,
PS
I just bought the Torpedo 400 and am struggling a bit with the placement of the mini mount because the stem is not lower than the bars. You have to mount it so it sits in front of the stem and there is not a lot of room up there. If anyone has any suggestions on mounting the 400 on a DA4 with stock bars that would be much appreciated.
Hey,
I am in and out of the office today, but shoot an email to our customer service with a picture and we can help with your setup. info@xlab-usa.com

I’m guessing you’re on the 2012 or earlier model DA, when the aerobars went through the basebar. On the 2013 and newer, the aerobars are above the stem and basebar. I run the Torpedo without trouble on my Devox aerobar setup.
I run a Dark Speed Works bento box, that is essentially the same design as the Xlab and it works well.
I had trouble w/ rear hydration like the Delta options because of how the seatpost bends forward at the top. Plus, I run my saddle pretty far forward. So there’s not a lot to attach to. I would imagine a spacer system like Candace is talking about would solve the problem. I just decided not to worry about running rear hydration. Between the frame mounted hydration and BTA, I haven’t had much need for more. If I do, I just stick a bottle in my jersey.
Thanks Candice. Email sent.
You are absolutely right. I have a 2012. So you’re saying I need a new bike?
I too have the Dark Speed Works box and it is great. Just saw the Xlab one and they look pretty similar. The design is great.
I run a 400 on my toptube wrapped around my seatpost. Use it for spare tube, co2. Doesn’t get in the way peddling and has lasted 1.5 seasons so far!
I have a new 400 stealth pocket for sale if interested
.
Did you get a solution from xlab for your 2012 DA4 and Torpedo System? I have the same setup and would like to know how best to mount it.
Thanks.
Never got a reply from xlab. On the verge of taking back the bottle as I don’t see a good way to mount it. If anyone has a suggestion that would be much appreciated.
Sorry for them not replying. Let me figure out what happened. We are in the midst of an expansion at XLAB HQ so things are pretty crazy right now, but I will find out. Can you DM or email me your email address? That will make tracking it a lot easier. My email is candice@xlab-usa.com
