What is the primary difference, the lighter fork? The wheelset build? Lighter by a pound or so, and more $$$ by a grand or two. Other differences? Any ride issues that should be considered? Is there a significant diff. in the frame strength? Assembly / disassembly issues to pack in a box for travel?
In about a week there will be a very big difference as the 2011 felt da has been reworked and looks AMAZING. I have been waiting all spring to pull the trigger on a new tri bike. After this week and the info and hopefully pricing is released I’ll be ordering either a p4, a speed concept or a felt da. I really like the shiv too but it’s geometry looks too exotic to order blindly. Plus I’m kind of hoping trek unleashes either a 105 or apex kit for under 3k.
Felt makes a great bike for the money. Since the Felt bikes typically come complete from the factory, the easiest question for you ro consider is, do you want to ride tubulars or clinchers.
I ride the B2Pro.
For the $3,000 difference in price you could invest in coaching or time in the wind tunnel.
Either way, they are both awesome bikes. . .
Given the bike choices you’re listing, can you adopt me?

I’m already housing a wife who likes nice things and 2 children. There is no more room at the inn.
That said, this year is a great year for buying a tt bike. Though I am frugal where it doen’t matter though. Like I said, my next bike will have either 105 or apex on it. Put the money toward the things that beat the clock. dura ace is great, I have it on my road bike, but my cross bike with 105 does the job just as well. When I start “crushing dreams” then I’ll worry about 400 grams of component weight.
