Favorite socks?

Searched a little but could not find any past thread covering this topic. So here it is…What are you favorite multisport socks? By multisport I mean socks that can be worn running and cycling. I personally hate those tall cycling socks because they look rediculous when you run in them. In the past I have always worn black nike dry fit ankle socks. Black because they neve look dirty and the dry fit rarely feel wet.

compressport 3d low-cut socks - wear them for bike and run and love them
.

Swiftwick Aspire. Best sock ever.

The Experia’s are really nice for running, biking, and Age Grouper Sprint and Olympics Tris. Also good for cycling up to 60 miles.

Not sure about running distances over 10 miles.

Material: Very breathable tip and upper with extra softness in the right spots of the sole. I live in Florida and they handle the humidity and moisture to the point to where I haven’t ever noticed issues that other socks have exhibited.

They lasted me several years being washed and worn 3 times a week.

Defeet or Injinji. Both prevent blisters on my feet.

Swiftwick Pulse for running… Swiftwick Aspire for cycling…

Available in all sort of lengths and colors… The.Best.Period.

Swiftwick Aspire. Best sock ever.

This. It comes in a military-compliant version as well, so it’s now my daily PT sock.

Wheaties socks.

Not sure of the model, but I was given some Pearl Izumi socks at an expo many years ago. They gave up the ghost in 2011, shortly after IMTX. Sniff.

Swiftwick Aspire. Best sock ever.

Nothing else matters.

+1 on the Experia’s previously mentioned. Also - and probably more often, lately - wear the SmartWool PHD Running Light Micro. Even in pretty hot weather they hold up really well.

Injinji. Maybe not for short runs less than a marathon. but otherwise, can’t beat them.

Darn Tough ( http://darntough.com/run-bike-1715.html ). Super comfy socks with a lifetime warranty, no matter what you do to them. They have wool or Coolmax - I recommend the wool.

The free socks that Set Up Events gives to each racer at Oly distance and greater. Usually “Sock Guy” brand.

I prefer wool and both Castelli (Italy) and Icebreaker (NZ) make great socks which cover both running and riding. Pretty sure you can get them lots of places online.

I got some Newton shoes at IMWI back in 2008 and they handed out free Newton socks with them. By far the nicest socks I have. Got another pair at IMLP in 2010. I love those socks.

Feetures elite are my pick. Swiftwicks are nice too. I think there are a lot of right answers. I will never understand the Injini though. It felt like mud between my toes. Tossed them after two uses.

I wear the No-Show Under Armour socks for everything…

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Balega’s. http://www.balega.com/socks/enduro-quarter They’re not the best for biking (too thick, at least in my shoes), but they are far and away the best running socks I’ve had. If I had a need for socks that were awesome both for the bike and the run, I’d check out their thinner varieties before looking elsewhere.

Feetures Elite - found them by accident now I have 10 pairs. Do all my races in them.
