Pretty slow day here at work. What are your favorite sites for finding airline tickets? I’ve had good luck with Kayak and Sidestep. I’ve also found that Travelocity gives some itineraries and prices that I can never find on any other sites. Any others?
I usually find the best price going directly to the airline. I sometimes go to Expedia or Travelocity just to get a sense for different airlines and their schedules, but I’ve never received a better price from those sites.
Kayak.com compiles prices from all the sites. You can’t purchase through them, but they’ll find the fares for you.
I use Kayak or just go to the airline’s site directly.

unfortunately it currently only works if you are flying out of Seattle or Boston. That being said I just checked it and it works similarly to metacrawler i.e. if you are flying out of another city it searches the other websites for the best fare.
