Thats only your opinion.
I think there are many on this forum who disagree. Easy on the Cervelo worshipping. Different bikes have different quilities. In my opinion Cannondale seatstays are the best made and blow Cervelo’s away.

From now on I’m riding my wife’s almunimum, 105 equipped R800 instead of my 15 pound, D/A custom Calfee Tetra Pro.
I just know I’ll be faster!
Yes, I know and I also think they are more desirable.

“I was a little disappointed that it came with two-year-old Zipps - rattling carbon caps and all. Not a big deal, but I can see a customer expecting dimpled Zipps, and then getting his/her bike and…not.”
Who cares about how old the wheels are. My 10 year old ZIPP 440’s finished 2nd at IMC and 9th at IM Florida this year.

All views expressed on the forum are “only ones opinion”, it’s redundant to state so in every post…
The customer making the purchase and expecting the current wheelset cares. If you were purchasing a new bike, and it came with an older version of a product which you know has been updated and improved (no matter how small the improvement), you wouldn’t care?
I heard from a good source that C’dale will have a carbon version of their tri bike for 2007. Can you confirm or deny?

The argon18 is a very cool bike. I bought one last year (yellow) and I’m extremely happy with it. It’s very stiff, so I can see why Torbjoern likes to ride it. But the carbon rear still makes it absorbant enough for IM racing. Choose the right wheels and you will get one hell of a ride.
and the best about it, not everybody has one. I did IMSwitzerland this year and I was the only one with that bike, there where about 30 Kuotas and even more Cervalas, not cool.
If they do I am buying it.
Think six13, and you may see it sooner than you think ; )
.
What? Details please, something…anything. Don’t withold info…puhleeeeeeeeaaaaaaase.
Are you talking about just a carbon top tube and down tube?
Does quality craftmanship count? In my observation of Cervello and Cannondale, the workmanship is superior on the Cannondale. Very clean welds, etc…I ride an Ironman 2000 Cannondale, and it is pretty sweet in my opinion.
Hmmm…that would be a good place to start.
My wife has the R800, nice bike, but she never rides it.
Any reviews on the six13, I know there has been some criticism around here of blending frame materials. Why have they decided to put carbon there when a company like Guru or the old Saber has it in the seatstays?
I hear what you are saying and would tend to agree with you. If you are buying new you expect new.
All I am saying is that the wheels in question and the ones I am talking about are fully functional, still work, are just as aero and just as light( actually lighter) as new wheels. Ironically, I could not sell them for anything right now due to their age. I can believe in them, because I had the BEST wheel builder in my area build them years ago and they have been bomb-proof for years. So they are of only real or any value to me. Same wheel set new $1500. My Wheels $00

I don’t design the bikes, I just spread the rumors ; )
