The irony may be that, if the developeers were sideways-thinking enough, they could host racing and training days and nights here and probably collect a little revenue and build a lot of good will. Who knows, one of the cyclists may actually buy a house in the development if it ever gets finished…

Riding around there does look like it’d be nice (except I bet it’s windy as fuck), but living there (or even near there)…? Not so much.
OK, let’s say you get a caterpillar tractor out there and make some cool mounds and banked turns on the dirt, tap into the fire hydrants and make some mud puddles. Then you have a criterium AND a cylocross race on the same day! The best of both worlds.
