Exustar Pedals - reviews?

Looking for some lightweight pedals for my road bike. I’ve always used SPD-SL stye, so I don’t want to switch (or pay some crazy amount for keo blades or speedplay). I came across this brand. http://www.amazon.com/Exustar-E-PR2-BK-Clipless-Pedal-Black/dp/B00H63N218/ref=pd_sim_sbs_468_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=1HER5X7VQ8PFHRRR6WB0

Any experience?

It says they’re fiberglass – is that normal?

My wife has a couple pairs of those. They work well and are light. I’ve been testing a similar, but shockingly cheaper pedal from Nashbar, the Alpe D’Huez for about a year now with no problems. I have 4 pairs (I have a lot of bikes). The float on them is exactly like Looks, the engagement and disengagement is exactly as you’d expect… it isn’t like pedals are actually that complicated.

I have a feeling they won’t last as long as an all metal pair of Looks (what I used many sets of previously for over a decade), but even if they only last 2-3 years each, they’ll still come out cheaper in the end (and lighter).

I bought a pair and have had zero problems. I bought an aluminum pair and they work great. If you were to buy a pair of Garmin Vectors, the pedals themselves are Exustar.
