I live in Boulder, CO and am flying out to CA for Wildflower. The camping passes are really expensive and I only have a very old, barely-stays-up tent, so I am wondering if any of you are taking RV’s or something of that nature, where you might be willing to let me pay part of the pass and sleep on the floor.
I could be wrong, but the pass just basically gets you through the front gate. So if you want to crash with someone else, you have to park somewhere outside the campground and get picked up with all your stuff. You can even bring your tent and sleep where ever you want to be dropped off.
Not sure if you’re asking if someone will let you sleep on the floor of their RV or not. If so, RVs can be expensive to rent and probably more expensive to own.
As someone else mentioned the camping pass just gets you into the gate. There are no reserved camping spots and they are filled up on a first come, first served basis. Some clubs send people down a week in advance to secure an area for their members and those who have RVs will do the same thing so that they have hookups.
Vendors and pro triathletes are the only ones who have spaces reserved for them.
