So as I was drifting off it looked like a chain of helicopters was flying across the screen of one of the videos on the BBC coverage.
That was probably the assault force.
Maduro is a thug and Venezuela suffers with him in charge, but we really had no business going in there.

it has been reported that Mexico was target one for this new narco war but that the Mexican president said she was working at it and maybe our own trigger pullers described less enthusiasm for starting off kinetic warfare across the border. China firms also manage the Panama canal under contract with that government. I think Rubio did a visit there and got briefed about that and did not put a “China though shalt not marker” to their continuance per the Trump Corollary to Monroe’s doctrine.
I think this is much more Rubio than something Trump would come up with on his own.
