Everyday drinks?

i hope this doesn’t fall into the to many asked questions, but here goes…

what does everyone drink everyday? after 3 liters of water a day i need something with some taste and usually grab a beer or coke zero. i need to lose weight and i am not doing myself any favors with those drinks, so what do you drink?

Ton’s of water all day. Especially when I am doing work at my desk. Several times a week I’ll have a Diet coke. I like Red Bull before early swims. Gatorade during workouts. Last year I was drinking tons of beer but I realized that I wasn’t doing myself any favors so I have pretty much backed off of it with the exception of the week after IMAZ where I had more than my fair share.

In this case you should use “too”, and the caps key is on the far left of the keyboard, somewhere in the middle.

I pretty much exclusively drink water, milk, Gatorade, and Pepsi/Coke. Occasionally I’ll have a smoothie when I have time to make one. Only drink two sodas a day (probably alot for some of you)!

These are in decending order of frequency, occasional diet Coke.

I use a gram or two of vitamin C powder with a little table salt as my electrolyte drink when I’m trying to trim down. Most of us don’t need any calories during training sessions of less than 2 hours anyway. I love my beer too so use low carb beer which still has the alchohol calories but less over-all and still has the buzz factor of course. I also only drink diet soft drinks although usually spike them in the evenning with something potent which negates the calorie-reducing factor. Bottom line is any alchohol has the wrong stuff in it and will make it tough to lose weight so you’re gonna have to reduce carbs somewhere else during the day to compensate if you love your grog.

as much as i love sam adams. i have been drinking miller lite lately. i am going to give your drink recommendation a try. thanks

lactose intolerant, so for me, milk doesn’t do a body good.

if i mix dairy and spicy, i am one hurt’n unit.

and you’re right about the “too” i type faster than i think, hense not using the shift key as well.

Fat Weasel Ale - then just workout for longer to burn off the extra calories :slight_smile:

During the day I drink water and Diet Coke with Splenda.

Workouts I drink Gatorade and am moving back to Accelerade lately on my bike.
