I haven’t heard back from Ergomo Usa yet so I’ll post this issue to see if anyone else has this problem:
After I download my ride data (which seems to go fine) the total miles ridden differs on my laptop (Cycling PEaks software) from what the Ergomo computer says. For example: my weekend 77 mile (at 19.7 mph) ride showed up as 47 miles and 12 mph. Everything else seems fine except this. Any thoughts?
Possibly your cycling peaks software thinks that it is downloading Kilometers and then converting that into miles for you.
Thanks DD…I think you are on to something. I did hear back from Randy at Ergomo USA in the meantime. And while he didn’t spell it out he said it was a software upgrade at cyclingpeaks. Thanks for the heads up…

I used an Ergomo for 16 months and never had that problem. i did notice, however, that my Ergomo, once the data was all uploaded, subtracted all of the miles I did not pedal. So if I coasted for a total of 1 mile on a 2 hour ride ( 44 miles), it would give me 43 miles total.

None of those are on my radar unfortunately. I have a local OLy this weekend, then a couple more local races (www.steelheadtriathlon.com) before IM Wisconsin. Any IM’s on your schedule?
