I purchased this wheel set used last year in near new condition, and put approximately 3000 miles on them last season. The previous owner said they were new in 2012, but I don’t have any documentation. Someone may be able to figure out the production date based on the SL+. Either way, the wheels are in very good condition, and the PowerTap syncs reliably with my Garmin 510, and zeros quickly each ride. The bearings feel smooth, and there is little to no sign of any brake wear. I have used Enve pads exclusively, and seldom ride in the rain. The original owner removed the stickers off the rear wheel, and I’ve never bothered to replace it or peal the front.
The tires are 23mm Zipp Tangents that were new last Fall (less than 300 miles approx.). I will sell with the tires, or remove and deduct $100 from the price. The cassette shown is not included, nor is the skewer.
I will pay to ship for shipping up to $50.00, and proper wheel boxes will be used. Based on other sets I’ve seen listed on this site, I am asking $1,200 ($1,100 without tires).
