Any opinions on any of the endurance road bike models? Kestrel RT 1000, Felt Z, Synapse, or others.

if they fit you, they can be perfect.
my roadie has a 72’ seat angle and a 200mm+ head tube, suits me to a “T” and I can ride that thing comfortably and in control until my legs fall off.
would it suit a young pro rider with great flexibility? absolutely not!
I own a carbon Synapse and love it. This bike is smooth and fast. It is really stable thanks in part to the beefy BB30 bottom bracket. I tried the Madone and Roubaix but they felt sluggish by comparison. I did swap out the tires to racing ones after the first year and the bike’s even more fun to ride.
Another good bike to look at is a Wilier. For Canadian carbon road bikes, I found the Devinci Leo a bit too harsh but the Rocky Mountain Prestige was quick and comfortable.
love my Trek Domane … I think the endurance category is selling quite well since many find no fault with comfort and speed.
It’s not that bikes that are endurance, it’s the riders…
Just keep going wherever you choose for a stupid long time and you’re on one…
Marketing will find many ways to make you think you need another bike when all you really need is one that fits and has all the bits on it that suit you and your needs…
Just a thought…
Agree, I think one should have a road bike one feels comfortable racing and doing long endurance rides on. My one fits perfect for both! Although one can never have enough bikes.
I find nine such machines ideal ATM … At least til I get more hooks on the garage wall
